His eyes lifted to the window when hers did and he stood up again, setting the files down on the chair as he crossed the room. His lips pursed as he ran his hand over the window shade that seemed to be locked into place until he found the magnetic lock that was keeping it there. His mind worked quickly and he couldn't help but smirk as he reached into his pocket - maybe he was on the wrong side of the law - and pulled out a magnatic bottle opener on his keychain. Flipping it open, he ran it along the bottom of the shade before he felt it start to magnatize. The pull of the third magnet brought the other two apart, letting the shade slide up to reveal some sunlight. Next he pushed open the window, letting in some fresh air - the place was stale - before he went back to his chair. "Have you tried to tell them that you have no plans to hurt yourself or anyone else?" He had a feeling that most of the security she was under was because she was on suicide watch but he wasn't just going to blurt that out.
