Subject: CreateDibSection failed error

I've used TImageScrollBox as the main component in a document imaging system indexing program. On some W9x PCs after viewing a few dozen images the component coughs up a "CreateDibSection failed" error and TImageScrollBox goes black and will not load another image. The program must be closed and restared. This does not happen on the W2K PCs (well, not so far).

Short of upgrading all the hardware and OS' in the office does anyone have a solution/workaround/code patch for this?
