kicking is fine but needs some work to be less floaty

lacks real intensity -> maybe laconic, yeah looks that way

but seems to be more reactive than instinctively proactive in reading the play .. would have him follow Sidey or Nick around and ask them to explain to him what they see (are thinking) at the exact time they see it (when a game /play is unfolding)

some of that footy iq (a split second ahead or behind) can be difficult to teach
