It's a open and shut case. Essendon are guilty of being drug cheats, all the players will get 2 years and the club will not be playing for points next year. They did it, they were caught, they will be flogged.

Essendon had a systematic large scale program of injecting their players with stuff, their goal was to improve on field performance. This is known as drug cheating, that was their intent. They make have been incompetent, the stuff may have given no advantage, or their intent was to be tricky drug cheats, i.e. use something that enhanced performance that should have been illegal but wasn't.

But Evidence solely based on Statements issued by the Essendon football club, is systematic dipping with aim on improving on field performance. Morally they are self confessed drug cheats.

They had players sign wavers listing banned substances , which they bought an chad delivered. Open and shut they are guilty.

Those media persons and others attacking ASADA are simply shooting the messenger. ASADA are merely doing there job, maybe not quickly but so what. Essendon were injecting their players. Pure smoke screen , Address the facts. Was Essendon injecting their players with stuff to improve on field performance? YES, they were. The other thing to determine is was it illegal or legal substances, if legal they should be banned. Essendon sourced illegal drugs and paid for them, they clearly were running an illegal program. Guilty, Guilty , Guilty.

For All those at Essendon and the Media talking up the Legal actions and appeals, foolish people who can't be bothered to look around at the history. In 194 countries no ban had been overturned by a nations legal system. They is a system in place and the international court of sports arbitration is a agreed court. No court of Judge is going to overturn the entire World doping system. They haven't in many many many cases in the past, with sports, organisations and people involved with more money and pull than Essnedon, James Hird or the Australian Football League. There is no prospect of any Australian Court or Judge granting and injection or wanting to touch this case,

It's somewhat sad for the players. But they should really be well aware they are responsible for everything they put in their bodies. They have a good case to sue Essendon for lots. But thats about the only legal action that has any chance.

Wake up smell the coffee, get a fuckin grip on reality. Essendon are gone for about two years. Legal action will not work. And it is justice. They engaged in systematic doping of their players seeking on field advantage, They have admitted as much,

Essendon are Drug Cheats, They deserve the whack that is slowly and surely coming their. It is a good thing, it is justice, and it anything less is just encouraging other players and clubs to be the same. It is good for football that they get smacked. It is good for footballers that they get smacked, perhaps platers will start taking responsibility for what goes in their bodies. Perhaps boards will show proper governance in the future.

When it was minor footballers and VFL players no one was going around and blaming ASADA, no one was talking legal action. Rules should be enforced equally without fear or favour.

Essendon are drug cheats, They deserve to whacked. They are going to be whacked, It is Just , It Right, and best for everyone, with exception of James Hird. (why have Essendon and Essendon fans placed the good of James Hird before that of their club? )
