Our planned forward line of Clark(retired), Hogan (injured) Dawes,and Howe never eventuated. Roos was forced to play the likes of Pederson and frawley in the fwd line. As roos had no idea of whether frawley was staying, he played Tom Mcdonald as a KPP and he got lots of experience. Had frawley played FB , he would not have got such experience. Our defence statistically was better in points against. Vince, Tyson , Cross helped Jones and Viney. We just had no forward line. When Brynes is leading goal kicker in a few games you know your in trouble.
