Ellie so nice to hear of your great feast on Australia day and yes you are right, the most important thing is being together with family. Every once in a while I go through the many family photo albums that I have and I can relive the warmth of the family gatherings or rember the cute rosie baby cheeks I used to kiss, be it child or grandchild.
It will be nice both getting back to work and to you writing group. So nice to be around other people when you are doing what you enjoy. Today my daughter cynthia and I are going on a bubble gum run, I think I told you she has bubble gum machines around the province and has to unlock the bottoms..give the money, half to store owners and half to herself and put fresh bubble gum in the top half of the machines. We are doing my favorite area today, the valley run.One side of the valley is mountain but it will most likely be snow on the mountain road and there are no stores up the mountain but usually if the road is bare we drive up for the scenery. So nice to look down over the valley.Today is Tuesday,on Thursday they are forcasting snow, Wednesday we will have been married 54 years.I don't even feel 54 years old even after all I went through cancer wise.I really went through the photo albums over the week-end rembering old times and old friends, many of the friends and relatives who are no longer with us.Well they are certainly with us in memory and the years have been great and have gone past so fast.
Well here I am turning this into a novel and most likely boring the heck out of you so I better say bye for now.Do the things you hate most-first and the rest of the day enjoy!!!
