Donna, that is great.You have a very kind heart, as I'm sure so many people do over there, helping others out in their time of distress. Here in Australia we are not so much in danger of hurricanes(we call them cyclones here) but because Aus. is a very dry country and has so much hot summer weather we usually get very bad bushfires-- often people lose their homes/all their goods in them, and people here too are very good about disaster relief.
The year before last a county school burnt down so they had a relief appeal for that, they wanted 'school goods' so I sent pens, pencils, erasers, paper clips, etc.. every little helps!

Sounds just like our beautiful Donna to help out all she can..and yes I think they need "things"more than money right now.Was thinking the other day-baby diapers,sanitary products,yes and cosmetics a luxery to boost their pride and sense of well being,living this far away all I could do was donate money through the church and even then sorry that I could not afford more than what I gave.
