Congratulations on your newest granddaughter. I have a cousin with the name of Matilda. I am sure she is beautiful. What a way to celebrate the coming New Year.

You are having such hot weather while we here in New England are freezing at times. We keep having snowstorms and icy weather. Sometimes just enough to make it miserable.

I too received a large box of chocolates and I did not make any New Year's resolutions. I would only break them. I have a birthday coming up on January 16th and will be celebrating with 2 close friends and also celebration at my daughter's house.

Happy, Healthy Year 2006 to all.

Phyllis

Matilda! what a beautiful name!Congratulations on the new grandbaby! How full your life is getting with these new babies..how wonderful.
We had a great Christmas week with lots of company and family and lots of good food. The roads were good for travel..bare pavement and barely any snow on the ground.Children who had gifts of sleds, tobbogans, skiis were not happy about the lack of snow.Last year by this time we had 2 months of deep snow.We had some snow in Dec. but it only lasted a week, its been a few years since we had a no snow winter this far in the season..other parts of our country like the next province have really been "dumped on" and roads are terrible there.
