Subject: I thought you might like..

While we are on the subject of grandchildren I thought you might like to hear read my 'list' and why I'm so excited about the new 'crop". I didn't have any new grandchildren in 23 years!!! I married young, as did my daughter.
She had Rebekah, now 26, and the twins Andrew and Glenn, now 23. And my eldest son had Matthew, 25.
So then this long gap... till Alexander was born 15 months ago. Next was Jemillah, 5 months.. (my great grand-daughter,Rebekah's baby) then Matilda, 5 weeks.youngest son and wife's baby. A whole new blossoming crop!
Ellie.

Ellie,

I just read your posting and think it is wonderful that new babies are arriving. 23 years is a very long time but I'm sure all the new ones make up for all the time in between.

Kaitlyn is 8 months old today.

Being a grandparent makes us wonder how the years flew by so fast from when our children were babies. We are all blessed by being able to share in our children's joys.

Tina,

I read your e-mail and enjoyed your writing on grandchildren.

When I came back from Florida I went to print out my pictures that I took with my digital camera. I had over 40 pictures and I made extra copies for my family. I go to a CVS store here in town as they have a machine that is easy to use and one can edit each photo. It does take time but the prints come out good.

I am back singing in the choir. I had laryngitis for several weeks. I could still talk but not in my usual voice.

The weather is very cold outside with the wind blowing. The best part is that the walking underfoot is clear. It seems strange to see the grass outside this time of the year, but I'm sure we will have a couple of good storms before winter is over.

My dog is waiting to go out for our second short walk so I will sign off.

I wish everyone a good week.

Phyllis
