Subject: Catching up.

Hello All.. It's my birthday today, 22nd-- getting older!
I will go to my Wed morning writing group this morning, not sure what after that! Yesterday I got a great book in the mail from Son and wife in Sydney.. it's called The Cambridge Compendium of Women Writers, and lists heaps of women writers, their bios.. and excerpts from their work.
I finished work yesterday after 8 years. It was my last day with my student Chris.. I felt a little sad about that.. however as the old saying goes-when one door closes an other opens-- and hopefully there will be new things in the future.
Last Saturday our theatre group performed a play at a big Sustainable Living Fest in the city.It was fun and went well in spite of our nerves at performing in a BIG theatre instead of small local ones as we usually do.

A new chapter is beginning in your life as you leave your job. Perhaps you can turn your theatre skills into earning skills.Building props, teaching etc. anyway have fun with the theatre..I envy you.

I just read your posting this morning and send all my best wishes for happiness, health and new pleasant things you e for the coming year.

I am sure that you will keep yourself busy, especially since you have so much to offer others.

I am enjoying my time with my granddaughter and watching her grow. She will be 9 months old on March 7th. She really enjoys my reading to her and likes the books with flaps on them. She will sit still on my lap as we look at the pictures. She like Frosty the Snowman very much as well as the ABC book.

I am always happy to read your postings. We are due here in New England for very cold weather beginning this weekend.
It has not been our usual winter weather which is fine with me.

Have to sign off and do some errands on my "day off".
