Subject: Belated christmas wishes, etc!

hello, all.......I have been having truoble with this site- so will try again!
I hope all is well...
Margaret, I hope your shoulders are more comfortable- try some Kinesiology! It can do magic! Did Bill enjoy his Christmas? Hope so

Susan...Bummer! Still, in this day & age, Diabetic food , is really what we all should be eating... low fat, low sugar, lots of fibre... you'll be so fit it'll hurt!!LOL

Kylie- Glad you've got "that" discussion out the way!!,Glad to hear about the air con. too!Have you found Kameow?

Tina- how're the aches & pains after Chemo? Bet the Christmas celebrations were wonderful!

Ellie- Aaah- Chrissie in melbourne- myer windows, Church all decked oput with trees from all over the world, Carols by candlelight.... Hope Yours went well.

Phyliss- Hope the snow didn't spoil your Christmas..

Our Christmas was very quiet!I worked the previous day... Christmas eve we sat & watched the "carols", Christmas Day we went up to a neighbour's in the morning, and had cold lunch. Paul bought a small cray, and some prawns- first time ever! We had a simple , but expensive lunch, which was delicious! In the afternoon, we played with what Father Christmas left us- a wonderful big Dyson vacuum cleaner, and a scanner for my computer!!The scanner has a wonderful program so I can "play" with photos- Susan, if u don't mind, I'll email u some to post!!
We had a hot Chicken roast, (& pudding) for tea... took the dogs for a swim, and tidied up wrapping paper etc.
Hamlet was VERY good all day- didn't touch any boxes or paper or anything, and we're NOT tidy people! hehad his own pressies- a soft frisbee, and a squeaky canvas ball, plus a scarf and christmas hat- he carried these around all day!!I thought that was pretty good for a 6 monthish pup!
Anyway...hope 2004 is kind to us all...

Sadly still no sign of Kameow, and nobody else has seen her either. ;^((

On the other hand, Relly (the stray who turned up a few days after Kameow went missing - maybe God's way of easing the sadness that Kameow is missing) is now a nightly visitor - meows and beats on the gauze door until fed, even came inside just a little last night. I know, naughty me for letting him/her (still haven't figured it out), but Relly snuck in while I was getting the food ready.

Glad to hear you had a good Christmas Belinda. We had prawns and swordfish steak on Christmas Day.

Kylie

Dudo-I can picture it all..your puppy being a good "kid"and the gifts there as temptation.
I had a wonderful christnmas eve day and christmas eve with all my children and grandchildren here ..27 of us.I opened my gifts while the family was here..they wanted to see my suprised looks etc or reaction to their gifts..warned them all not to spend on gifts and they all overdid it.I didn't scold because I know they wanted me to be extra happy this year.Christmas day was wonderful-ate turkey dinner at Cynthias..day after christmas at Darlenes..then that night old hell from the chemo set in--spent the morning of the 28th in the hospital from 5 am to noon with an impacted bowel..another chemo symptom..for the first 2 hrs wished I could die..then after that things got better.I am doing good today..shakey from ordeal but able to even go visiting.
Should be ok from now until Jan 13 ..so thats not so bad..sort of like after labor pains..you forget the worst.lol When I feel a bit stronger will tell you of my gifts.Bye for now..wishing you 2004 as the best year ever!!

Glad you had a nice Christmas. I've heard it was hot up here, was cooler in Adelaide. Hamlet sounds as it you have taught his wonderful manners, you must be pleased with how he is growing up. What a good boy he must have been.

We actually had Christmas lunch at a hotel this year, no rushing around cooking and not mess, was nice for a change. Just email me the photos when you are ready, no problems.

Cheers
