Subject: Apri Xmas.

Hello all, hope your day was good however you spent it. Dudo, have not yet seen the Myer windows, too crowded before Xmas, and now too HOT! Will be gone by the time I get there I guess. Did see the giant Xmas tree in the Square tho.
Am waiting for some cool days before I do my holiday round of Museum, Art Gallery.. lots of new exhibitions.
Spent Xmas day and 26th with daughter and family at their house, night of the 26th a family mob went together to see the third Lord of the Rings film. Return of the King.Fanatastic special effects. Anyone else seen it yet?
Doing LOTS of reading just now. I have a while off work, family and friends gone off on holidays.. so I get carried away into the world of books... and it's not a bad place to be!
Ellie.

Ahh, Ellie I love my books as well. I got three new ones for Christmas. A Sara Paretsky, Johnathon Kellerman and Patricia Cornwell. Always have my nose in a book unless on the computer - for get the housework (lol).

Glad you had a great Christmas and all the best for the New Year.

It's been hot here as well - 38 degrees today and humid - not nice.

Leigh and I went to the movies on Saturday and saw Elf, was a nice light Christmas film to see. The line up for the Lord of the Rings was amazing, we didn't even try but will catch it later. There were so many that were dressed in character and they were so excited.

Cheers

Hey Ellie! Glad you're enjoying your hols!

We saw RotK too the other day, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm participated in an online Fantasy/Sci-Fi Book Club where the current book (because of the heavy interest in Tolkien lately) is The Hobbit. This will be the second time around for me this year as I read it to J and X earlier in the year.

Hope you enjoy all those galleries/museums etc.

Kylie
