Alas, none of my ;cultural' plans for the hols have eventuated.. it's been so $#^(^@*^ hot, all I've done is scuttle out for necessary grocery shopping for me and cats, and to the library, then scuttle home again. I don't have a car, or drive, so even to get to public transport is a longish walk in the heat Now that we are finally getting some cooler weather I'm due back at work..!

The bookclub is just a group of people through a Christian site (http://www.crosswalk.com/) who have decided to read through a fantasy/sci-fi book together regularly and discuss each chapter.

Tell me, has Grania'a problem with the laundry sink settled down. I remember you posting on COA of her problem after your burglary? I've been wondering how things were going. Hope she and Big Feller are okay.
