Subject: More News

Well, it's that time of year. My eldest sister had her 25th wedding anniversary yesterday. My 11th is on the 23rd.

I spoke to my Mum tonight. They are just about ready to leave for Tasmania (three month holiday in a campervan).

No new news on dh's grandfathers.

Rellie is still very skittish, but letting me pick her up for a pat before getting fed now.

I also got to handfeed our possum the other night. Actually, it came and snatched the piece of bread I was holding out from my hand and then ran back up the tree. I really do need to start cutting up some fresh fruit for it.

China was a pain all day today. Our neighbours across the drive were having a new deck installed, and every time the nail gun went bang China yelped. :^O

We're going to see the new baby tomorrow, so will probably be all clucky tomorrow evening.

I've got the very basics of what we're doing for school organised now, so expect that we'll be ready to start by Monday week.

Kylie

How exciting it will be to see your friend's new baby. There is nothing to compare with holding a little one.

Congratulations on your sister's 25th wedding anniversary.

Sounds like you are very busy with your family.

Have a good weekend.

Well, we didn't end up getting to see the bub, but have plans for next weekend.

We had some tyre problems, then had issues finding somewhere to fix the tyre probs on a Sunday, so ended up spending 2hrs wandering around shops waiting for new tyres to be put on dh's truck (a job he'd planned to get done later in the week, but a puncture put the tyres forward on the schedule).

Bonus though, we ran into some other friends at Hungry Jacks and got to see their little one who is now five months old.

You sound very organised with your schooling for the start of the new year. Sorry to hear about the tyre problem, but must have been great running into your other friends.

Hope Rellie continues with the visits and also hope your Grandfathers improve with their health.
