Subject: Is it nasty planets or....?

My friends who are into atrology say there is a HEAVY configuration of plantets just now.. well, after my last mail regarding my friend D, I've had news that my brother John in Canada has a lump on his neck that very likely is malignant. He's had tests and X rays, seen Drs etc, and is schedulled for more stuff this week. However, he's keeping very positive which is great. We've been exchanging a lot of email as you can guess. He has a very supportive wife in my lovely sis-in- law Jane, and good friends.. that is so important.
Next last night I got news that my friend Cate somehow drastically wrecked her back.. spent one night in hospital, in a lot of pain.. so I'm off to see her today and will do a little shopping for her on the way.
Susan, it's lovely that you will have leigh home for a while before he leaves for London.. I wish your Mum a very happy birthday, great that the family will be together for that. The wedding sounded beautiful.
Phyliss, I think those spiders are what we call white tailed spiders here, vicious little so and so's, .I hope that your ex will be fine, lovely that you are still friends and that you are helpinghim out.
Gotta get ready to go and visit Cate! A beautiful Autumn day here, but really we could do with rain.
Ellie.

Oh Ellie-so sorry about your brother-I pray everything will be all right-don't despair if it is malignant-on the neck they are very successful with radiation instead of chemo but I hope it is not cancer.
Our deep snow is almost all rained away and everything looks so gloomy-mud everywhere that there isn't snow banks left in the areas where the snow plows piled the snow up our of driveways and roads-spring birds are back and the air is filled with song once again. Can hardly wait for grass and flowers but that may be a month yet.My best friend who lives in the farthers away part of Canada-which we call "out west"actually Vancouver Island e-mails me bragging about the flowers and grass all in bloom there and they are out golfing..grrr why not here?

Ellie,

I hope that your brother will be alright and it is not cancer. Sometimes we think the worse but things do turn out ok. I will include him in my daily prayers.

I just received news that my best friend's mother fell and fractured her hip in 4 places and it cannot be repaired. She was living at home with her son but now will have to go into a nursing home. My best friend is very upset as she is very close to her mother and would go to visit her every other weekend to help her brother with her mother's care. Her mother lives an hour and a half from Concord.

I hope your friend Cate will recover from her back problems. It takes time for any back aliments

The weather here has been cold because of the wind. We had some light snow today.

Take care.
