Subject: Bon Voyage Leigh!

Hi Susan.. I wish (well I guess it's from all of us) Leigh a safe trip and a terrific time working in London!
Yesterday we got RAIN. Lots of it and heavy.It was so good, Melbourne has been so very dry. Today, just one day after the rain all new green grass was shooting up among the dry.browny yellow stuff.. now that's a miracle for you!
Thanks for the sites for C and D Chat.. may get around to looking in.. at present I'm involved 'work) in helping setting up an art show (aboriginal artists) to be exhibited during 'Reconciliation" week in May. I'm the 'writer' for the artists.. and I've also been asked if I will teach a creative writing class for residents of an Aged Care facility near me.. this will be voluntary work starting in June.
Just put Grania on a 'weight management' diet.. that grey lady has got FAT! My son asked if she was pregnant! LOL!
I told him No, she was speyed at 6 months and is now 5 years old.

Thank you for your wishes for Leigh, I will pass them on. He has gone out this evening for a farewell party at a friends home. Thursday evening he had a farewell party for his Adelaide friends. They gave him a lovely large crushed Velvet towel of the Australian flag and a beer stubby holder with the Aussie flag on it and he's taking both with him LOL. He's all packed and getting quite nervous. He's booked into a youth hostel in Earl's Court, where all the Aussies go, just to start with and find a more permanent place.
The art exhibition sounds wonderul and can imagine would be very interesting, good luck with it. The writing class
sounds great and right up your ally. Have fun with it and you might find some hiddent talents there.
Poor Grania being on a diet LOL. Hope it's successful. Our Ted is now 2 1/2 and weighs in at 7kgs, then again, it's not uncommon for big Brit boys to get to 8kgs. Rob says he's just got big stomach bones LOL.
Hope your brother's treatment is successful and not too many side effects, will be thinking of him. Please let us know how he is doing? Take care.
