Thanks for that Tina.. haven't heard about that here. Maybe th bosses don't want people to waste a day by going around hugging all their co=workers!

What a great idea to have a "hug day at work". We can always use a hug. Susan you are lucky you can really enjoy hugging your boss.

I also think that it is good to take the time to let someone know that they provide good customer service. Today at the supermarket, I told one of the employees that she was always so helpful as I had watched her help an older man who had a question about a product. I have seen her for several years working at the same supermarket, but never really had a long conversation with her. I now always make it a point to show my appreciation to others who provide good service to us and to let them know. I think that being retired allows me to have time and be so much more relaxed. It is a wonderful gift to have this freedom. It has been 6 months since I retired.

Today is a beautiful day after yesterday (rained all day) and I am about to take a walk with Rufus. He really enjoys me being home and I enjoy his company. We have 2 dogs that live in the next yard to me. My yard is all fenced in and Rufus usually only stays out if someone is with him. I plan to do some much needed raking later on this afternoon.

I see that we have lots of May birthdays. It is a great time of the year.

Happy birthday to all those celebrating this month!

Hope everyone has a good week.

Take care.

Phyllis
