Kylie we missed you-glad to hear from you and I pray your finances improve so there are no worries,,one of my sons is a plumber/electrician and there are times that getting money out of customers is maddening. Glad the children are doing well.
We are having a late spring but at last even in the cool weather all the beautiful flowers are blooming,magnolias,lilacs,tulips,forget me nots and many others.
My 2 daughters and I are planning on going to Quebec"a few thousand miles from here and staying there for a few days-we will be 1 day on the train going and one coming back..we all wanted a train ride..been years since I was on a train..seems we all take the faster mode like planes and cars - not the romantic trains.We are not going until June 10 so I will keep my fingers crossed for luck that nothing happens to stop us.My husbands knee replacement is healing real good so he will be able to look after the dogs while I am gone.

That train trip sounds lovely.

I would love to travel on the Ghan or the Indian Pacific one day, but dh has no inclination to that form of travel, so I guess I'll just have to wait until J and X grow up or go with a girlfriend.
