thank you and thank Shirley for me! So nice to get a few pointers..I can read French very well but do not speak it very well because here on the South shore of Nova Scotia we speak slowly and with a bit of a drawl like the American "Southern Belles" But we do not say "you all"lol We do say "eh" a lot though !The French speak so fast compared to us.
Phyllis is your weather still cooler than a normal spring..we have only had a few hot days..the rest quite cool.

Hi Tina,

I told Shirley that you wrote back and appreciated the information on Quebec. Shirley can speak French as she took many years of French in college. She can also read and write in French.

Our weather has been about 20 degrees above normal for this time of the year. I do not mind the cooler weather as the hot, humid weather can be unbearable at times. Warm weather is nice if you are at the beach or lake. We have had a lot of rain, although the last few days have been sunny with a nice breeze. They are predicting rain tomorrow.

I am going to my former co-worker's wedding this Saturday.
Sunday I am going to my nephew's son's baptism. My daughter and I went shopping for a gift at the mall here in town. She is also invited to the baptism. We went out to lunch at "The Pizza Hut". We both had personal pan pizzas. Pizzas our one of our favorites. In between, we took my ex-husband's black lab named Buddy (he was adopted from the SPCA two years ago) for a walk. Then came back to my house and took my golden retriever, Rufus for a walk. Rufus cannot go too far, as he has been limping lately (Vet says he has arthritis in the joint of his right leg).

Have to sign off for now. Hope you are having nice weather.

Phyllis
