Subject: Hello..Hello!

I'm still here Susan.. and others. Just that things have been hectic lately with family members having flu (not me-touch wood) and a lot of 'extras' for work.. just don't seem to have been able to catch up. Youngest son,Simon and wife Sinead left for London on Tuesday.. got an email from Si this afternoon.YES!! to say they arrived safely, but that London is hot and overcast and they pretty jet lagged, but did manage to get to the Museum and Kensington Gardens.
Lots of rain here, and coooold, but daffodillies in the garden and lovely pink blossom on the trees.

What a pity they didn't come in our spring, but I do hope that they enjoy themselves. London does have a lot to offer if you like crowds, but I can't stand them, much prefer the open countryside.

Not to worry Margaret, they are only in London for 5 days then will be travelling thru your beautiful country side, then on to Ireland.. so they will see lots of lovely scenery!

I imagine Ireland is such a pretty place to see as well as country England. Are they going to Scotland, Ellie? My sister and husband went a few years ago and Sherida said it was very beautiful country.
