Subject: I had a great day at the Show
I went and saw the Ragdolls at the Royal Adelaide Show and they are just gorgeous. I got to cuddle about 5 of them and one did the "Ragdoll flop" for me. I held two boys, both weighing about 9kgs and I thought Ted was a big boy (lol). Anway, Eils sent me a photo of her Honey who is a baby (about 6 months) and classified as a Bicolour and she is lovely. Please excuse the drooling lady holding her, that is yours truly, loving every moment of our cuddle(although poor Honey wasn't so sure).
Also, my sister is coming along fine now. She went back to the doctor and he thinks her "tummy" problems she has now are stress and to get back to eating well. Doesn't help that she is on her own at the moment so much. She's actually gone to see Mum this weekend (from Melbourne) which I think will help. Mum just rang me and not a happy Mum finding that we had kept it from her.
Tina, have these fires been anywhere near you, I hope not. One of my Mum's penfriends from years ago lives at Kamloops, near the Rockies and Mum thinks this is the area of the fires.
Margaret, I saw the post about Paul drowning his dog and realised there was some sort of injoke going. The people seem nice and I will continue to keep visiting.

the fires are far west in Canada..we are farthest east as you can get without falling into the ocean-lol..its like farther away than your east coast is from your west coast..but I pity all those who lost homes,pets and all the firemen who have been fighting the forest fires July and August and now.
If you read my post to an earlier message of yours you will note that I adore Rag Doll cats.Are they rather rare there? They are quite rare here.

I am glad the fires aren't near you. Yes, I read in your post that you liked Ragdolls, that why I posted the photo for you to see one (lol). Also, they are not at all rare here. Probably in the top 10 most popular breeds in Australia. They are certainly lovely.
I am also glad your husband is feeling better as well, Tina.
