Subject: thank you all

Ellie thanks for the poem and all of you thanks for your prayers and well wishes.
Cynthia had thanksgiving dinner at her house today because when Canadas thanksgiving was..I was in the hospital.Darlene my oldest daughter helped her.Was so nice to eat with a group of relatives and friends again.Largest meal I was able to "stow away" since I am home from the hospital. The folks in USA celebrate thanksgiving sometime this month.
This Monday I get to spend all day in the Hospital in the city..have to leave here 7 am to get there at 9 am..because we will be travelling amongst all the working folk travelling to their jobs.Normally it only takes an hour to get to the city.I get started on chemo Monday...there goes the hair that I was so vain about because at my age I still didn't have to color my hair.Haven't picked out a wig yet but the Docs said I will definately loose the hair.Really that is the least of my worries.Just hope the chemo kills the cancer cells. They took 18 samples from my insides when they took out the 2 big cancerous tumors. All 18 came back with positive cancer spores or fingerprints as they gently like to call them.ovarian cancer is the hardest to cure in most cases.
I am not a nervous wreck over this..I figure I had a marvelous life-wonderful family and friends..great neighbors-live in one of the nicest parts of the world-enjoyed my own garden of eden in my back yard for many years..but I am greedy enough to wish for a few more years..
so pray hard for me folks.Love you all !!!

Tina, I'm still praying!

This is for you. Maybe it says just a little of what you are feeling.

A long life of liberty
In my Saviour's arms
Brings a peace to my soul
That shelters and calms
Me from the time
That so many men fear.
For me it is just
Another step near
To my Lord.

But I would have just a moment
More time on this Earth
To witness again
The snowfall
The Spring
A young child's laughter
The leaves fall again
Just one more breath of
That cold Winter air
Just one more wind
Lifting my hair
A moment of peace
In my lover's arms
A moment in time
Once again.

Kylie

Dear Tina,

I lit a candle at Church today for you and want you to know that you are in my daily prayers. I am in the choir at church and will continue to remember you each Sunday.

It sounds like you have a loving family and lots of friends who are all praying for you.

I live in the USA and we will be celebrating Thanksgiving on November 27th. Our weather here has turned very cold. We have had a lot of rain and most all the leaves have fallen from the trees.

I have been visiting this site for a long time but haven't written very often because I was working full time but just recently retired.

We will soon be getting our first snowfall before long. My golden retriever is 11 l/2 yrs old and loves to roll over in the snow.

Take care,

Your friend from New Hampshire, USA.

Sadly mine are not getting all the walks they are used to but with prawers and wishes from folks like you..it'll come.
Ellie overian cancer chemo aspparently has to be more radical than that for breast cancer so its a sure thing the hair goes so the Docs say but all sure thingsdon't happen do they-lol..thanks girls

Tina, I have been praying for you as well. I hope all goes well with your treatment and will be thinking of you. Also, a friend lost her hair not long ago, and there are some lovely wigs around, I couldn't even tell the difference. Hugs and thoughts to you all.

Dear Tina,

I am thinking of you today as you start chemotherapy and said a special prayer for you this morning.

I sure that you pets provide lots of comfort to you. Things will get better with so many people sending their best wishes and blessings for you. Take one day at a time until you get your strength back.

Your friend,

Phyllis

It is wonderful to see you back posting with us Tina, and you were very much missed.

Lots of prayers are being said for you and cancer does go away, it happened to my uncle.

My uncle had that op were they put a back on the side and said that he had only 2 years to live. 10 years later they took him into hospital and opened him up to see why he hadn't died and found no trace of cancer. He lived for another 30 years, making it 40 years since he was told he had 2 years to live.

Prayers are a wonderful thing, and the amount you are having said, hopefully it will mean that they cancer will go away.

Big hugs.
