Subject: The ring I found..

Yes, girls, the gold ring I found does fit. However I want to try and track the owner if I can.. because you know it could be something special to someone. I didnt realise at first it was 18c gold..just thought it was 'junk jewellery' from the op shop.That shop isnt open again till Wed, so I plan to ask Vicky who is the manager if anyone reported a lost ring, if not then I guess it's mine.

Ellie, I lost my whole handbag once and a lady found it and took it to the nearest police station. Perhaps you could notify the police, if someone reports it missing? A friend did this and no-one came looking for the item they found and they were allowed to keep it. Or perhaps your local and national newspaper may have a for lost section and they make put in an add. It sounds lovely by the way.
