Subject: New Lounges and other Stuff!

Well, my b'day present arrived yesterday (at 8.30pm, were supposed to arrive after 4 sometime). Nearly ten weeks ago we ordered two armchairs (one side straight, the other curved to make it easy to swing your legs over the side and read) and a sofabed ottoman in parchment and eggplant (fancy names for cream and purple). All the new cushions and throws I bought work really well, so I'm so relieved I didn't waste my money on stuff that didn't look right. We spent all of Saturday tidying up/rearranging the office/school area so that the school area is now near the diningroom and the loungeroom is down where the school area used to be. Dh re-ran the antenna into this room (I love having a technically capable husband) and now the desk are facing straight out over the balcony so that when the blinds are open we can look out onto the bush.

Today we went shopping at Lush and bought some goodies, bought new strings for my guitar because I'm planning to start playing again, bought some books at Dymocks and some other personal stuff at Bras and Things.

Sounds like a very productive weekend. I love the sound of the lounge suite and now you have some new books to lounge in it and read.
