Oh Ellie, sorry about your daughters place. The day after one of our big snowstorms it poured rain here, one son had a leak in his roof, thankfully somehow he learned that it was leaking in the attic and saved it from coming down through the ceiling by using a couple of pans. The snow has melted down to about 4 inches, mixed with thick ice in places. Now I am definately ready for Santa, I had everything decorated but not the tree up, One of my twin sons, Kevin came over and put it up in its stand and put the lights and shiny rope trim on it and I put all the ornaments on it. I have many tree ornaments that were gifts through past years so I put them all on our 7 ft high tree.Must confess that Kevin had to put them on the top part of the tree. He also changed the lights on my outside patio lights, I had a mixture of colors and he knew I would like them all blue lights so he did that for me as well. He has a 6 week vacation and lives handy to me, if you count to 10 while he is driving he will have arrived home from my place-lol
Did you read my answer to Phyllis? the one about her snow storm?
glad you have your plays to keep you busy, we will allow you time for that-lol
I hate thunderstorms , thank goodness they are rare around here. I like warm but not hot hot weather but I do love the looks of your beautiful country. Have fun!!
