How lovely and Christmassy it all sounds at your place Tina. Afew days ago I got some (computer) photos from my bro.in Canada. He had just finished putting the Xmas lights up outside, it looked so beautiful.. all the colored twinkling lights against the snow (they got plenty) There were also some inside photos of the Xmas tree, and his little grandaughter (my great niece) Jessie who turns one today. Also their dogs, 2 airedales, who looked very happy to be inside in the warmth.
I have most of my Xmas gift shopping done, but haven't done any decorating yet (we're slow in Australia!) Some happy news is that my son in Sydney, his wife, and their 2 little boys, Alexander, 3 and Ben 18 months are able to come down during the holiday season.. not actually for Xmas day as Darren has to work across that period, but around the 27th/28th.
Yes, the play rehearsals are keeping me (too) busy.. Iwill be glad when the performance is over.. its on Dec 15th..
Tina, I hope any further chemo before Xmas leaves you well enough to be able to enjoy Xmas.. what a darling Bo seems to be.. a real comfort and treasure.
Hugs,
Ellie.

Hi Ellie & Tina,
I returned from watching my granddaughter about an hour ago and decided to get on my computer. It is so fast compared to my old computer that it is fun to use. I also have a printer with a scanner but don't know how to use it yet.
Ellie, I am sorry about the water damage in your daughter's home. I hope she has some kind of insurance that will cover the damage. I get very upset whenever water is flowing when it shouldn't be.
How wonderful that your son and family are coming to visit during the holiday season. Both you and Tina are way ahead of me with Christmas shopping and Tina you with your beauty large Christmas tree. I will have to get going. I have bought all my Christmas cards and have a list but have not started on them yet. I usually send about 35 cards. Some are to relatives abroad.
It is good that you keep busy Ellie with your writing and plays. It seems this year that I have been busy taking care of Kaitlyn and on my days off the day seems to go by too fast.
Well I need to sign off as I am watching Kaitlyn tomorrow and need to do a few things around the house.
Wishing you both a good weekend and please keep in touch.
I look forward to your postings, you are both such excellent writers and I enjoy reading about your day.
Phyllis

So nice that your son, wife and 2 little boys will be visiting you. You can be glad not to worry that snow will stop travel plans-lol A year old grandniece, so glad you have the pictures to admire along with a peek at your brothers decorations.Your play is over now, hope it was a grand success!
Nothing too exciting going on here these last few days, most of Canada is snowed in with people digging out, snowplowing and the brave souls are out skiing and tobogganing, sledding and snowboarding.Everyone seems too tuckered out to try clearing ponds of snow for skating, they would rather go to the arenas skating.I was an avid skater but none of my children or grandchildren are avid skaters.Snowboarding seems to be the thing to do.I would hate climbing back up the hills even though it is a thrill coming back down. But the exercise would be great.
