Hi Gals,

It was a good thing that you were not at the hospital when the boilers actually went. I guess you can never tell what the day will bring.

We had the snow and some rain but it wasn't too bad here in town. The local weather station is predicting a larger snowstorm Tuesday evening thru Wednesday. I am watching Kaitlyn on Wednesday and I hope either Michael or my son-in-law will pick me up so I will not have to drive. If I go with my son-in-law I must leave the house by 6:15 and then cannot return home until my daughter arrives back from work around 5:15. It makes for a long day.

Tomorrow is Kaitlyn first day at preschool. My daughter is transitioning her gradually this week. She will be going for 3 hours tomorrow and then l/2 day of Friday. Next week she will go all day, Tuesdays and Fridays. I will be thinking of her and hope she will like playing and learning with the other children.

On Tina, my heart goes out to the poor mother who's daughter die in such a tragedic manner. Sometimes unfortunately there is no reaching a teenager who does not understand what is best for her.

Ellie, I enjoyed reading your e-mail and it is good that you are busy with fun things to do.

It is very very cold out today. My front door entrance to my hallway even frosted up. I had to venture out to pick up some birthday cards and a retirement card for my former boss.

I am going out to celebrate Mary's (one of my close friends) birthday and Nancy (my friend for 45 years) on Valetine's day. Mary's birthday is the next day but we thought it would be fun to meet on Valetine's day instead.
We are going to a nice restaurant, called The Common Man. They have good food and a lovely atmosphere.

Wishing you both a good week.

Phyllis
