Subject: Just in time for NEXT Years Easter!

Hi Gals. Lovely to hear you both had such a nice Easter, and another one to come for you Phyliss. Iam sorry that I neglected to send Easter wishes, not that I forgot, just an accumulation of things. Firstly the scorching hot weather continued on and on, then on Good Friday night I came down with a bug and was very tired sore and sorry for a few days and not feeling like writing or anything else really.
However I did get to see family on Friday and Sunday and distributed eggs/bunnies to the little ones. My darling little Matilda carried her choc bunny around for quite a time just cuddling it (lucky that was a cooler day so it didn't melt) then discovered there was CHOCOLATE inside the wrapping! We adults didn't exchange any Easter goodies this year.. we decided we were BIG people, but that didn't stop me sneaking off and buying myself an Easter egg!
Hope the rest of your week goes well.

Ellie we keep trying to get winter to leave here and go cool you off-lol Spring is officially here but you would never notice it, snow over my ankles as of Sunday.Plow man didn't plow us out but a friend with a truck drove through the driveway so now my car will go around to the back door so I don't have too far to carry my groceries in.I did not get out to church Sunday but yesterday Ralston and I did go out to eat. We are both tired of being in the house so much.
sorry you were not feeling too well, hope all is ok now.
Phyllis did you survive 2 Easters?
Have a great week ladies!

Hi Ellie & Tina,

Thanks for your Easter wishes. I will be preparing dinner for family that live nearby on April 27th. I did celebrate Easter with my sister and her husband's family. She and her husband treated us all at an Italian Restaurant here in town.

We still have plenty of snow and still the sidewalks are not good for walking. Today it is very windy outside and cold.

I am sorry Ellie that you were not feeling well. I hope you are feeling much better.

Kaitlyn has her new princess toddler bed and princes theme in her bedroom. She has princess curtains with lace to match. My daughter's husband is still working on the room for the baby. He had to strip all the wallpaper and will be painting it in a pastel color. He does some work every weekend. My daughter's due date is 6/9, however she will be having a c-section.

I had couple of ceiling painted by my contractor as they really needed it. There is always something with an older house. I try to do small improvements every year.

Wishing you both a good week.

Phyllis
