Hi Tina & Ellie,

We had a great Thanksgiving day and I was so grateful that the weather was good. My oldest sister and her husband were able to travel to my house. They live about l/2 hour drive from me and do not drive in bad weather or in the evening. My youngest sister, Shirley and her husband live within walking distance to my house. My daughter, her husband, Kaitlyn and Ashley were with us also. Kaitlyn sat in a boster chair and enjoyed all the food. I had the playpen set up in my t.v. room for Ashley. My sisters brought some new books for Kaitlyn. I also have toys for Kaitlyn but she seemed too busy to play with them.
I also have a Santa Video on my VCR player and Ashley likes to watch it.

Our memories of Thanksgiving gathering in the past are important and great when we can share with family.

I am enjoying a lot of the left over food. I tried to give most of it away but still have apple pie, ice cream, sweet cranberry cake and spinach pie, scalloped potatoes, turkey, and ham leftovers. I think I will be gaining weight as I have not been walking like I do during the warmer months. It is slippery and very cold early in the morning because of the rain we have had in the past.

We are going to get some snow late tomorrow into Monday.

Wishing you both a happy December month. I am thankful for your friendship and being able to share with you.

Fondly,
Phyllis
