Husband finally gets home to stay on Friday. He is doing what they said was impossible : he can walk without a walker but they want him to use the walker for a while for safety measures.
Ellie things must be the same here as there, I was to a mall yesterday after my heart tests were done at the hosp.
You could have driven a truck down the mall without hitting anyone because there were so few shoppers.Cynthia and I did not help the economy any, she spent $5. and I spent $4. I only wanted a small picture frame.
World wide economy is scary.I worry of the hardships todays young people will have to face.
I won't have to buy any reading material this year, so many of my friends gave me books that they are finished with. I will give them to one of the hospitals as I finish reading them. Then I have 3 monthly magazines that I was given subscriptions to for Christmas, also get daily newspaper a day late after the son who lives nearest me is finished reading them.
I won't be home the day my son brings Ralston home..wouldn't you know it? They insist on releasing him from the hospital rehab the very day I have to go to Halifax for my chemo so Kevin is bringing him home while Cynthia is taking me to have my chemo.
It is very nice outside now at 5:15 am but it is supposed to be quite stormy "ice pellets, snow" by noon today.
Ellie and Phyllis I wish you both a great week..or what is left of it-lol
