Subject: Just to say Hello.

Hi Tina and Phyliss. I haven't got too much news here, but I just wanted to say Hello to you both. We are about a week off our official start of Spring, some trees are in blossom, and gardens looking bright with early Spring flowers, but it's VERY windy.. gale force, damaging winds predicted for the next 3 days.
Still not back at work.. 5 weeks now.. because of te damage to my foot.. so frustrating! I have been doing a lot of reading though. Hope your furnace got fixed Phyliss, and Tina, that things are going as well as can be for you.

Ellie, I am sorry to read that you are still having difficulty with your foot injury. I hope that with time it will improve. Did you see an orthopedic specialist? Sometimes cortisone might help in certain situations.
I am keeping positive thoughts for your recovery.

Tina, I imagine you are having similar weather. We have been having humid days with sometimes pop-up heavy downpours. It is suppose to get cooler weather the next 2 days. I can't believe it is already the end of August.
Where did the summer go? I hope we will have Indian summer this year.

Ashley is walking at times but not very steady on her feet.
She like to be bear footed and even though I brought her the first pair of baby shoes, she has worn them very little.

I am trying to catch up on e-mails, written correspondence, and telephone calls. When one calls a doctor's office you have to wait for them to return your call. It usually the same for many professional offices too.

This is the first day of school for the children here in our city. The elementary school is just down the street from me. Plenty of traffic on my street because it is a main one for many people. The local hospital is located about a mile or so on my street as well as state offices.
It is very hard as I have to back out of my drive way and usually I move my car by 6:00 A.M. so I can park in front of my house. We have a parking ban and then really enforce it.

I think of you both often and send my best.

We have been having such perfect weather that I have been running around enjoying it all that I can, sometimes with family to beaches and some days taking Ralston and the doggie driving.
Yesterday I think will be my last swimming day because the water is cooling off. Had a great time with friends,gabbing, munching, swimming.
Hope all continues well for us all. Bye for now
