Oh, I had a lot of trouble getting on Facebook, so gave up on it. I hope Tina and Phyliss that you will continue writing here sometimes too.
Tina, I'm glad you had such a lovely summer, so sorry re your friend with the brain cancer. and I hope you continue to do very well. So, Fall for you, Spring for us.The gardens are such a riot of all sorts of different colored beautiful flowers, though this pastweekend was as FREEZING as anything we had through winter, and lots of good rain, creeks are flowing that have barely had water in them for years. Lots of people have been down with colds/flu including me. just getting over it now after 2 weeks.
Cats are well! Thinking of you both.

Ellie I hope by now your flu is better. We were to the valley yesterday,Cynthia and I, it is sort of the central part of this province, we drove through the wine valley within the area just called the Annopolis valley, Stopped at a winery where cynthia bought honey and wine.The scenery was beautiful and we had a very unseasonally hot day, Cynthia had to stop at the hospital there to have a wire pulled from her shoulder from her operation.
We have fog and rain here today but very mild.Nothing really exciting going on but thought I would drop in to say HI!

Hi Ellie & Tina,

I am sorry that you have had the flu Ellie. It seems lots of it is going around. My daughter was out of work because of bronchitis for 3 days. Doctor gave her sme very strong medicine and she is feeling better.

Well gals yesterday I had good intensions and decided to pull out my canister vacuum cleaner and pulled a muscle in my right lower back. I had to babysit today and asked Michael (my-ex) to help me out in the morning. Ashley weighs 21 lbs and is 16 months old today. I knew it would be very hard to lift her. It does not bother me when I am standing or walking slowly around but sitting is very uncomfortable. I haven't had back trouble for years.
I am using ice for 2 days and will try heat tomorrow. I can only take tylenol because I am on other regular medication at this time.

The weather was beautiful outside here today but it is suppose to rain most of the weekend.

I do enjoy facebook and thanks to my son as he helped me get on it.

Take care and keep warm Ellie. Tina and I will be dealing with cold weather before too long.
