Subject: Hello,hello, Hello!

Hi Gals. Sorry for the long delay again. We got a very early.. nine day heat wave which was very energy sapping, and at certain times of the day it was just too hot to be in my room to use my computer.
Cooler now, and we've had some tremendous thundestorms, they too-- or the accompanying rain and wind caused a lot of damage to trees, houses etc.
Apart from that I've also been busy. All this year I've been working on the editorial team of a new newspaper for writers. It's called 'Inscribe' and we had the launch at the town hall a week ago. It was a big success, about 150 people there, a jazz band, readings from the writers, lots of nice food and drink.
Now the Wednesday morning writing group I attend is working madly to get our book of writing ready to publish and launch at our break-up Xmas party on Dec 9th. I have a story and a poem in that one.
I do think of you both even when I'm not writing on here, and hope all is going as well as can be for you.
Ladies, there is another storm rolling in, so I'm going to switch off my computer for now!
Hugs and thoughts,
Ellie.

It all sounds so exciting with your writers group, I would love that. I would love to see the finished book with your work in it-alas to buy a book and pay transportation would most likely cost an arm and a leg-lol, neither of us have spares of that.
Oh my we went through the whole season without one heatwave day, we are having the mildest Autumn on record.
To see people out walking without coats this time of year was so amazing these last 2 weeks.I am sure when the cold blast comes in our bodies are in for a big surprise.
Ellie I was so glad to see you in voy, I get to chat now and then with Phyllis on Facebook. Today , I think its a son of hers has the most amazing pictures posted, sled dogs in the snow, I am not sure if it is Alaska or a mountain range in the U.S. I have posted Phyllis this morning to ask about the pictures.
Ellie , all the best to you and yours, wishing you fine but not "too hot" days

Hi Ellie,

Sorry that it has been so hot with your heat wave. How exciting to be on a team of a new newspaper. I unfortunately have no writing skills. My sister who is great at writing will always help me when I need to write something very important. She was a policy writer for the State of New Hampshire. She enjoys helping family and friends by reseaching things and giving her opinion.

Also great that you are involved in another writing group and working on getting their book publish.

We have had the most awesome weather for the month of November. Things are going to change soon. We will have much cooler weather and of course plenty of snow. Every year it seems more difficult to deal with it. I should not shovel because of my shoulder but sometimes must do the front walk.

I with out to buy a few things for my granddaughters today.
I am going to a children's Christmas party on Saturday sponored by our local hospital as my daughter now works for Cardic Associates when is under the hospital.

I bought some fancy shoes for the girls and a Christmas jumper for Kaitlyn. Ashley already has a Christmas jumper.

I enjoy being on facebook as I can view pictures that are posted by family and friends.

If you ever have someone who can get you on board I know you would enjoy it.

Best wishes,
Phyllis
