Its fascinating how all you adorable indie darlings who despise The Pumpkins for writing some simple and universal pop songs and for being "commercial" (which they never were) can only focus on the commercial, universal, simple, and pop aspects of them. You know, there's more to the Pumpkins than what the media presents. You all despise the media, right? Then why base your opinion on what it presents... isn't that too obvious? That would be like saying Oscar Wilde was merely an immoral homosexual... but hopefully we all know better... in retrospect? Yes... that was an insult implying an anachronism (you). So no, none of you are elite nor are you intelligent or in any way a representation of yourself... you're the representation of a hypocritical scene... no more. You conform just as much and are just as much "sell-outs"... though you "sell-out" to something unheard of and obscure... so maybe that makes you cheap? Or not. But you get the point.
