Subject: despite all my rage i'm still a rat in a cage Author: real looker [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 21:52:50 11/26/01 Mon does anybody know what will oldham does in zwan? ironic turn of events, not too long ago i recall drag city mocking smashing pumpkins pretentious mellon collie infinite sadness title next to the awful band usa's blurb. does anyone know what the ceo of drag city thinks of this, are they horrified? then again the line is fine, like royal trux performing in borders downtown a couple yrs. ago. does this mean mr. pajo will be in the first zwan video? like the smashing pumpkins video with a bunch of mauddy half naked youngsters thrashing about in a fury. i heard the smashing pumpkins before they were big, i saw them open for bullet la volta many years ago and they were terrible. and with lyrics like the world is a vampire i guess you could say billy finally arrived, embodying a generation's malaise so well with terrible cliches that rhyme. i don't know how you can handle shit and not have your hands smell so maybe many years from now when i'm writing the authoratative account of the genius of mr. pajo, we can trace the downfall back to zwan and blame billy. what's next? does this mean drag city will cut papa m from the team? maybe they should so the whole label doesn't go to pot. cut off the infected areas before it spreads.
