Subject: Re: DON'T BLOW OFF THIS EMAIL
Good day...
you have a valid point about us not knowing each other, etc.
If you're getting complaints, please pass them along. i don't want anyone to be unhappy, and i don't want you to be unhappy.
as for the gentlemen below, here's the best way to explain this... our shipping costs, etc are clearly outlined on our site (and there's a link when someone is checking out from your site, too)
http://www.goodrecords.com/help/
this discusses international shipping, etc. we do this for a number of reasons.... one, it's easier to charge a flat rate for shipping per item that to attempt to figure an exact amount by weight. if someone orders something like a only a tiny single, it looks a bit lopsided, and they may pay a bit more than what should be. if someone orders a heavy 180 gram vinyl album, they're going to pay less than the actual shipping probably. most of the time it works out ok, but every once in a while, something like the below email happens....
i'm going to write to the gentleman if you pass along his email and see what i can do to make it up to him.
Erik"
I'll check it out when I have time but in the meantime, both you and adam should write erik@goodrecords.com, tell him you talked to me, and see if this is valid.
one point that seems to be true is that the uk is the only region that seems to have a complaint; nobody has written luther with complaints from outside the uk.
