what record label? what buying public?

corgan is already worth $10 million and since 1998 he's acted like he doesn't need another penny. zwan has played four shows and has four more scheduled, all in tiny clubs where they won't even cover their travel costs. they are obviously unsigned; corgan had a terrible experience with virgin, and he has his own label now (constantinople). zwan obviously has released nothing that's for sale; corgan's last album had a free print run of 25 vinyl copies.

at root, corgan is an iconoclast. so i wouldn't count on anything going down the road you expect it to. it promises to be a fun ride, actually. :)
