well, before you attack republican ideals, understand them first. i am a republican and happen to value differing opinions, that's actually WHY i'm republican... but that aside, persons such as yourself holding ideas such as you do, chen girl, are what give indie rock a bad name. i mean come ON!!! how elitist can you be? and what's the problem if i happen to buy a zwan or a radiohead or slint album (keep in mind, they were on RS's top 100 albums of all time...) and RS just happens to recommend the album as well? that really shows a lack of critical thinking skills on your part. just because B occurs, doesn't mean that A necessarily had to occur as well. you may have been 17 once as well, but your attitude says that you turned 18 the day before you posted the message.
