Subject: First, choose a song that you can sing really well. I don't care how much you like a song, if you really can't sing it well (and I mean really well), don't choose it. Second, it should be a song that you feel good singing because your reaction to the song will be evident in how you sing it. I know lots of people say you should choose a song that the audience is familiar with, but I don't think that's absolutely necessary. What I do think is important, though, is that you love singing the song. Even if the song isn't a well-known song, IF you feel good singing it AND you can sing it really well, it will be an audience pleaser. That's just my 2cents' worth. Hope it helps.

First, read the OP's question. Second, ask yourself, would someone who can sing "really well" ask this question. Third, doesn't it seem more likely that the OP was only baiting the crowd here with a hogwash question, warranting hogwash responses? (NT)The Rock06:16:43 10/22/09 Thu
