This is so exciting for UTA if football does eventually become a reality. They last fielded a team was back in 1985. WHen looking through their history at https://college-football-results.com/f/arlingtn.htm, they did have some success. Also, adding another football playing school in the state where "football is a religions" will be great too!

That's great but the total vote count represents 3.5% of the total enrollment at UTA. It's more like a few steps backward since about 44,000 students didn't care enough to vote.
