As revealed in the original thread, #57 could possibly be the Pensacola Goshawks.

Though for some reason their yearbook cannot be accessed at this time,

Louisiana Monroe had a red? logoless helmet with a white-red?-white stripe sequence in 1967

Please take a closer look at the decal - although at first glance this does look like a hawk's head, a closer examination shows the decal is, in fact, a generic "Indian" decal of the era wearing a war bonnet and preparing to attack.

I'm pretty sure it is indeed Navy Pensacola.

You can find photos of ULM Vs these teams in their 1968 yearbooks:

Henderson State
Stephen F. Austin
Northwestern State
SE Louisiana

Also, if you can check out 1967 Northwestern State Yearbook
(https://archive.org/details/potpourri1967nort/page/224/mode/2up)

you can see a Navy Pensacola helmet on page 224 that looks just like the one that you think is ULM.

The decal is not worn on all helmets. Look at the helmet in the bottom photo, far right corner.

ULM did wear an oval logo on a white helmet in 1975.

I'm still doing research on this one

After further review, I can confirm that this is indeed a helmet worn by Navy Pensacola in 1967, and not ULM as previously reported.
The helmet in question is an "award helmet" provided to defensive players, as part of an awards system in place at the time.
