The Camping World Bowl matchup, with two teams wearing designs marked as “Y” in their respective portfolios, may be the furthest along in alphabetical order that we may have seen for the same game. (And “Y” should a team wear thirteen different helmet designs in thirteen games? Oklahoma State is guilty of that, and Memphis may be so tomorrow…)

Four more days of bowls remain; today has four games (including a Wildcat war in Nashville); tomorrow and Monday each have five, with the national championship one week from Monday.

Over in Charlotte, Wake Forest (E) outlasted Texas A&M (B) in a shootout. The other three bowls for today are underway, with their results to come later.
