Subject: NSAC (USCAA) to Launch Football Division This Fall

The New South Athletic Conference (USCAA) is sponsoring football this year. They made the announcement last September.

The initial members already play Olympic sports in the NSAC but football elsewhere: Newport News Apprentice (Seaboard Conference), Atlantis University, South Carolina Central Christian College, Lighthouse Christian College (all ICAA/Independent Collegiate Athletic Association), Westlake Baptist University (Independent), and John Melvin Christian College (new team; Pace, FL). The next two teams, Clayton State and Gordon State, just transitioned from the club ranks to regulation as associate members. Recent member Barber-Scotia College will play a four-game schedule beginning in October. And just announced is South Georgia Institute of Norman Park, GA. They were formally known as Omega Prep, but transitioned to an actual college, so you may find them on the NSAC composite schedule (https://newsouthconference.com/football/calendar/2025-schedule/) as Omega Prep.
