Subject: Kampe "stand up guy" in Oakland Press
In reply to: TD 's message, "See Kampe & OU story in Keith Langlois' column in Sunday's Oakland Press" on 04:14:26 02/16/04 Mon

You really have to respect Kampe for taking the heat on himself and rightly pointing out that Helms has been major asset for OU. I am still pulling for Kampe and OU and I think they'll be primed for KC. OU beating Centenary by 12 shows they can beat anyone in March.
That's why I don't want them playing Valpo in 1st round. Title game of OU vs. VU is dream scenario---tThe pre-conf. talented favorite vs. the rebuilding dynasty they've never beaten. Centenary & Wisnewski could be spoilers & the Jags should really be the odds-on favorite on RPI basis and games vs. ORU & Valpo.
