I'm not going to get into another argument with you here, Czar. This is a board for Pacific sports, not the place to debate your apparent opinion that UCSB should be dominating the NCAA tournament from the bottom third of the bracket every year. Sorry, but we're not that good.

BTW, I stand corrected on Jody. She did make a Sweet 16 and Elite 8 as a player at USC. I'd love to see her get Pepperdine up to that level before she leaves, although I naturally wouldn't object if she did it for Pacific instead. Here's an interesting question. If Jody got the job, what happens to her husband Derek, who is also a Waves assistant? Co-head coaches? Would he accept being her top assistant? Or does he look for a different coaching job somewhere in the area (or even stay at Pepperdine)?
