Hanukkah is a Jewish holiday. It is the Jewish festival of lights, involves the lighting of candles for eight days. It is spell in three different ways; Chanukah, Hanukkah, and Hannukah. For the eight days they celebrate the commencing on the 25th day of the month of Kislov(Nov./Dec.), to commemorate the victory of the Jews over the Hellenist Syrians in 165 BC.
