We are saying the same thing. I always wanted to see more of Coffman, what he could do on the field as a receiving tight end like Indy and several other teams has. Trumpy deja vu. I think Trumpy said his blocking assignments were to "just get in someone's way". Shipley was our possession receiver and last season he bore out my worse fears about him... a bit too small and fragile to stand up to the pounding of the NFL. The Bengals have had more than their share of guys who could run real fast down the field and drop the ball going all the way back to Put It on the Ground Eddie Brown (and Billy Brooks et al) that continues with Caldwell and FedEx Simpson. Also seems like Caldwell made some spectacular possession receptions two yards short of a first down on a third down throw.

Dunno... either a wasted pick or failure of our coaching staff to develop him or utilize his talents. Hope he does well elsewhere ala Kevin Walter.
