I didn't watch the first half & I was happy for you with the way it looked like NC was putting the hammerlock on the conf race by holding serve outclassing the dooks on the home court and there's no way I wanted to see what happened.

It also still looks like ol' Roy has a raging case of Denny Crum's disease to me, i.e. just can't adjust to the concept of the 3ball, which is polluting the minds of the players (both O and D-wise) regarding this aspect of the game.

I'm still curious as to whether you know why Strickland only shot 1 measly 3ball this whole season despite being a 57% shooter as a perimeter player (& probably the team's best perimeter defender to boot, which it's big to be losing him for this very reason). Was that some directive from Roy or was there another thing driving this in his case?

Game eFG for UNC = 50% (paltry 1/6 on 3s) while Duke's was 54.8%. (14 of 36, eFG = 58.3%).

I actually saw where some ESPN dumbass 'expert' wrote that NC 'held' Duke to 43.5% FG shooting, which is about the single stupidest thing you could write as 'analysis' in that instance. Letting them shoot an effective 55% is not 'holding' them to anything!

>>> I should have gotten up further I didnt want to foul him and put him on the free throw line, a despondent Zeller told reporters. But at the same time, I still should have got up. You cant give him a three when youre up two. <<<
