Subject: Easy to make stepping stones

These are great for grandmas, grandpas, aunts and uncles that tinker in their garden or flower beds. Of course, stepping stones can be used in lots of places so if no one in your family gardens, don't let that stop your and your children from having fun making these.

You will need pizza boxes, wire hangers, a bag of quick setting concrete and small objects such as stones, sticks, marbles etc.

Place two wire hangers inside the pizza box with the rounded parts of one hanger going from corner to corner and the other in the opposite corners. This is for reinforcement for the concrete. Mix the concrete according to directions. Pour concrete into the pizza boxes and then push small objects such as rocks, etc. down into the concrete, making sure that you don't bury them, you will want them to show. One really neat thing to use is leaves. Pat the leaf down on the concrete and leave it there. In time the leave will rot away and the leaf impression is left in the concrete.

You can have children help you and they can put their hand/foot prints in the stepping stones. Use a stick and write the date/age.

When the concrete has set up you will then peel the pizza box from the stepping stone.
