I just read your message, and cannot believe someone else has actually been diagnosed with the same as I have been. I also had polio at 9 months and have worked as a custom cabinet maker full time until 1994. I too have had many doctors, and many complaints of muscle weakness, falling of most recent. My pain management doctor sent me for an MRI, thinking it was my back, not PPS. She was right!! I too have stenosis L4 & L5. Did you have surgery to correct this?? I am scheduled to have bicep tenopathy surgery next week...when this is corrected, I hope to have the surgery on my back to hopefully stop the falls. My good leg gives out from the nerves being compressed from the stenosis. Please respond. I hope the outcome was good for you.
